Administration

In August 1990, the State Department approved Liyang updating from to City Level, subject to Changzhou prefecture-level city.

Liyang is between 31°1'-31°4' , 119°08'-119°36' . Area: 1535.87 km².

Liyang resides at the boundary of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, belonging to Shanghai Economic Developing Zone, which is within the area of Yangtse River Delta.
